What Is AcceleDent® Optima™?
AcceleDent® Optima™ is a hands-free orthodontic mouthpiece, clinically shown to accelerate tooth movement by up to 50% faster. This state of the art technology also reduces pain and discomfort by up to 71%. AcceleDent Optima can be used with both braces and Invisalign™ and is FDA approved. How It Works
Braces and aligners apply force to cause your teeth to move over time. In doing this, they mobilize bone cells at the root of the tooth, causing cellular changes in the bone surrounding the tooth. The AcceleDent Optima uses soft pulse technology which utilizes calibrations, or micro-pulses, that are transmitted to the roots of your teeth and to the surrounding bone. These vibrations increase activity on the cellular level, causing the rate at which your teeth move to speed up. The force used by the device is only 25g which is 8x less force than using a power toothbrush and 200x less force than chewing. If you are interrupted while using the AcceleDent Optima, you can pause for up to five minutes and resume without having to start over.

The app uses dashboard reports so that you can track your progress, obtain reports, show usage history, and even share your results with your friends, family, and orthodontist.
